Key chains

Products recalled due to risk of lead exposure

The following products are being recalled because they may contain high levels of lead, which is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.

Units: About 39,000 (an additional 12,000 key chains were recalled in April)

Distributor: Wal-Mart Stores Inc., of Bentonville, Ark.

Importer: FGX International Inc., of Smithfield, R.I.

Description: The key chains have several charms, including a button, clover, leaf and heart, that hang from a silver-colored chain.

Sold at: Wal-Mart stores nationwide from April 2005 through June 2008 for 50 cents to $6.

Remedy: Return key chains to any Wal-Mart store for a refund.
