New Orleans tours offer sample of sights and sounds

From a stroll through the French Quarter to a ride through a Bayou swamp, the 1987 AAP Annual Meeting family program features a variety of activities to help family members take in the sights and sounds of New Orleans

Various tours, including three youth tours, have been scheduled for Oct. 31 through Nov. 4.

A walking tour of the French Quarter will highlight 18th and 19th century architecture of the district and landmarks such as Jackson Square and the St.Louis Cathedral. The tour includes a visit to the 1831 Hermann-Grima House and Courtyard, which will feature a demonstration of Creole cooking.
