Contributions solicited for child care book

Here's your last chance to contribute to The American Academy of Pediatrics Book of Baby and Child Care, the first of three AAP books on infant, child and adolescent health care.

AAP members are invited once again to send in "pearls" of medical advice to be published in the Book of Baby and Child Care. Each pearl selected for publication will be attributed to its author by the inclusion of his or her name, city and state of practice.

Since December 1985, the Academy has published in AAP News a monthly list of the topics to be covered in the book and has invited all AAP members to contribute their own health care tips. The Academy now is accepting pearls until June 15 on any of the topics previously announced (see list below).
