Spokesmen to partcipate in media seminar

Chapter representatives will receive nuts-and-bolts training in media relations at a special one-day seminar at the Spring Session in San Francisco.

In the Academy's most comprehensive media training conference to date, the AAP Chapter Pediatric Public Relations Workshop will provide chapter spokesmen with the opportunity to receive professional media training.

Lou Williams and Associates, the Chicago-based consultant firm that trains the Academy's national spokesmen, will lead participants through on-camera interviews that address techniques from surviving hostile reporters to the importance of gestures, eye contact and appearance.
