AAP recognition guidelines set

Projects that enhance membership services, advocacy efforts and educational activities will be considered for AAP recognition, according to the recently approved "Guidelines for Industry Recognition."

"The purpose of these guidelines is to define the categories of involvement with outside programs and sponsors the Academy may elect to consider, as well as the classification and nature of programs with which it may desire to become affiliated," the guidelines state.

In part, the guidelines establish the process by which projects must be introduced and reviewed before they receive AAP recognition.
