Periodic surveys to assess membership's views on issues

The Academy has launched a new research program that is expected to influence the future of AAP activities and policies: a periodic membership survey.

Results of the survey will guide AAP committees and support staff in the planning of Academy programs and policies.

The first of three surveys planned for 1987 is now being mailed to Fellows, Topics for the survey include child abuse, school-based health clinics and alternate delivery systems. The results of this survey, as well as all forthcoming surveys, will be published in AAP News.
