Recruitment campaign goals set, chapter participation encouraged

The Academy again is asking you to encourage non-member board-certified pediatricians in your area to become AAP Fellows. Seventy-six percent of all board certified pediatricians are currently Fellows and 60 percent of all pediatric residents are Junior Fellows.

As part of the 1987 recruitment campaign, the Academy has targeted 6,548 board-certified pediatricians and 4,090 pediatric residents for recruitment. Members are encouraged to contact potential Fellows located in their areas.
