Controversial, but less publicized issues discussed

Some topics do not get the frequent headlines that other issues receive, even though these other issues are often just as important. Therefore, I'd like to take this opportunity to give you an overview of AAP actions concerning some controversial but less-publicized initiatives.

• School-based health clinics.

This is a complex subject that has involved much discussion among AAP leaders. Official AAP guidelines on the matter are being developed and are scheduled to appear in the next AAP News.
