Materials guide state involvement in early intervention program

An information kit and a special roundtable presentation are two of the Academy's resources open to AAP chapters and individual members wishing to participate in the development of a federal program for disabled newborns.

The Academy is urging pediatricians to participate in the implementation of the new program, which will create a system of early intervention services for disabled newborns in each state.
