Academy promotes injury prevention program in nationwide campaign

In an effort to alert more medical professionals about The Injury Prevention Program (TIPP), the Academy has mailed a special promotional flyer to more than 50,000 prospective participants.

The flyers were sent to AAP members, non-member pediatricians and pediatric nurse practitioners as part of a nationwide publicity campaign to promote TIPP.

The theme of the campaign is "One TIPP from your pediatrician can help save your child's life." As the program surfaces in the media, more parents will be asking pediatricians for TIPP services and literature.
