Pennsylvania: Child passenger safety

The AAP Pennsylvania Chapter is taking advantage of an excellent opportunity to educate families about child passenger safety.

In conjunction with the Nursing Foundation of Pennsylvania and the state chapter of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG), the AAP chapter has joined a campaign urging seat belt use among pregnant women and car safety seat use among newborns.

Through the campaign, more than 1,400 packets of materials have been developed and distributed free to state ACOG members, birthing centers and hospitals with maternity floors.
