The use of gamma globulins is a "new frontier" that is having an impact on the treatment of AIDS, Kawasaki Syndrome and an increasing number of other areas, according to E. Richard Stiehm, M.D., FAAP. Dr. Stiehm, professor of pediatrics and heard of the Division of Allergy/ Immunology at UCLA School of Medicine, will provide a general overview of AIDS and other immunodeficiencies at the AAP Continuing Medical Education (CME) course "Advances in Dermatology and Immunology." The course is scheduled for April 3-5 in Washington, D.C.
