Montgomery praises chapters for their achievements, growth

Former AAP President William Montgomery, M.D., praised the efforts of AAP chapters and presented special recognition awards to six state legislators during the AAP Annual Meeting in New Orleans.

"If I had to identify one aspect of the Academy that has demonstrated the most significant growth in the last decade, I would not hesitate to name our chapter organizations," Dr. Montgomery said.

He spoke during the annual business luncheon, where the new president is inaugurated and several awards are presented.
