Fellows in the news

On behalf of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, two Academy Fellows served as hosts recently to a visiting celebrity, Lynn Redgrave. Fellows Stanley A. Plotkin, M.D., and David Cornfeld, M.D., spoke with the award-winning actress about the importance of worldwide immunization. Dr. Plotkin, of Philadelphia, is director of the hospital's Division of Infectious Diseases and Dr. Cornfeld, also of Philadelphia, is director of the Division of General Pediatrics. Redgrave visited Children's Hospital as part of her tour as national chairperson of the UNICEF Mother's Day campaign ... William V.Tamborlane Jr., M.D., FAAP, has been named program director of the Children's Clinical Research Center (CRC) at the Yale University School of Medicine.
