Pediatric leaders taught us how to tackle today's challenges

In this issue of AAP News are the death notices of Martin Gershman of San Francisco and Louis K. Diamond of Boston (forgive me, California, for claiming Dr. Diamond). Martin Gershman, using our common terminology, was primarily practitioner and Louis K. Diamond an academic. During their distinguished careers, both men were leaders, teachers and lives of children through the work of those they inspired.
