Hantavirus a threat again

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is calling for renewed efforts to reduce the risk for hantavirus exposure, after confirming seven cases of hantavirus pulmonary syndrome (HPS) from January through May in Colorado, New Mexico, New York and Washington. An additional 11 suspected cases were reported in Arizona, California, Idaho, Iowa, Montana, New Mexico and Washington.
