Education serves as cornerstone for AAP international outreach

Six years ago during a teaching trip to Laos, Errol Alden, M.D., FAAP, had a conversation that showed him how much the Academy's educational efforts mean to colleagues overseas.

As a Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) instructor, Dr. Alden was working with a Laotian pediatrician who, for 30 years, had taught neonatal resuscitation extensively.
