AAP research network seeks pediatricians to join newborn study

Pediatric Research in Office Settings (PROS), the AAP's practice-based research network, is embarking on an important and innovative new project called Life Around Newborn Discharge (LAND). The LAND study will explore how pediatricians and parents arrive at the decision to discharge newborn infants from the hospital, and also determine the impact of this decision and other factors on child and family outcomes such as breastfeeding, maternal self-confidence and health care utilization.
