Lobby new Congress on the Internet

Sherry Trust Llewellyn

As the new Congress prepares to convene at the end of this month, AAP members now can use the Internet to let their representatives know that children's issues, such as health care and tobacco control, must be a priority. Through the new Members Only Channel on the AAPWeb site, a member can write to Congress by sending a direct e-mail or printing a letter to your senators or representatives.

Launched in October, the Members Only Channel can be accessed from the AAP Web site at www.aap.org. This exciting new option allows the Academy to provide information directly to its members. This is especially beneficial in keeping members informed about legislative issues, like AAP-endorsed bills.
