AAP president takes office at Annual Meeting

Tucson, Ariz., pediatrician George Comerci, M.D., took office as 1994-95 AAP president at the AAP Annual Meeting in October.

Dr. Comerci is Director of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine at Desert Hills Hospital for Youth and Families. Prior to joining Desert Hills, he spent more than 20 years as a full-time faculty member at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, also serving as Director of Pediatric Ambulatory Services, Chief of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine, and Associate Dean for Continuing Medical Education and Outreach.
