Chapter Forum representatives refuse to condemn embargo

AAP Annual Chapter Forum representatives, Sept. 25, voted overwhelmingly not to condemn the U.S. embargo against Cuba.

The 120 chapter leaders debated whether organized medicine has a role in U.S. foreign policy. The AAP Maine Chapter, led by Chapter President Sydney Sewall, M.D., introduced the resolution.

The forum sends successful resolutions to the AAP Board of Directors for consideration in drafting AAP policy.
