Medicaid health supervision pay changes praised

The Academy is applauding proposed Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment Services (EPSDT) regulations that would allow Medicaid-enrolled children access to the full range of needed health care.

The U.S. Health Care Financing Administration has issued regulations implementing changes in the EPSDT program called for in the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1989.
