In a study reported in the Nov. 10 Journal of the American Medical Association, a majority of adults accompanying children age 3 months to 5 years into the emergency room could not accurately provide information on their childrens' immunization history. The study, conducted at Wyler's Children's Hospital at the University of Chicago, questioned 199 adults about their childrens' immunization histories.
