CME concentrates on seizure disorders, legalities

Physicians are invited to attend the AAP Continuing Medical Education (CME) course, "Pediatrics 1994," March 18-20, in Orlando, Fla.

The course will be led by a nationally prominent faculty who will discuss the most recent advances and current issues in pediatrics.

After completing "Pediatrics 1994," participants will know more about: recognizing cardiac dysrhythmia and establishing management of SVT, bradycardia and asystole; pathogenesis, clinical presentation and treatment of pelvic inflammatory disease in adolescents; diagnosing atopic dermatitis and distinguishing it from similar conditions; predicting school readiness and understanding the limitations of school readiness tests; the pitfalls in bedside and laboratory determination of glucose, reviewing theories of pathophysiology of hypoglycemia-induced brain damage; and diagnosis and treatment of migraine headaches in children.
