It's not easy for many to see today's teen as victim. More often, they're perceived as perpetrators. Young gang members killing each other, juvenile toughs preying on the weaknesses of the elderly, trouble-makers hanging out at the suburban mall just a few of the images of adolescents many adults hold. Although hidden in society's shadows, teen-agers can be victims, enduring physical, sexual and emotional abuse.
