Working an average of 12 hours a day, seven days a week may not seem like much of a vacation to most people, but that's what David Zlotnick, M.D., FAAP, and hundreds of other volunteers do on trips for Interplast, Inc. Interplast is a nonprofit organization that sends teams of pediatricians, plastic surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists and other medical personnel to developing nations to perform reconstructive plastic surgery on children.
