Conference examines effect of smoking on infants' health

The effects of smoking on reproductive health will be discussed at an international conference in San Francisco, Oct. 15-17.

New research and past work on the effects of smoking on contraception, fecundity, pregnancy and birth outcomes will be presented during the meeting. The relationship between smoking and the health of infants in their first year of life will be explored, as will cancers of the male and female reproductive systems.
