Hands-on workshops, a Cook County Jail Tour and small group discussions will highlight the 9th National Conference on Correctional Health Care set for Nov. 7-9 in Chicago.

The conference is sponsored by the National Commission on Correctional Health Care and the American Correctional Health Services Association.

The 35 workshops scheduled for the conference will include presentations on whether inmates should be immunized against Hepatitis B, prenatal treatment in county jails and ethical dilemmas facing correctional health providers.
