Sheets list DTP reactions

The Academy has received more than 400 requests for its new DTP Vaccine Information Sheet pads.

These sheets, which come in pads of 100, list both usual and less common reactions to the DTP vaccine. Pediatricians can use the sheets as a supplement to their informed consent programs by handing them out to parents at the time their children are immunized.

All Academy Fellows received a sample copy of the sheet along with two DTP posters in June. The posters, which are suitable for display in office reception areas, urge parents to familiarize themselves with DTP reactions.
