Famous French Quarter beckons

The site of "Advances in Pediatrics I" will let you enjoy the elegance of a French chateaux with the excitment of Bourbon Street at your doorstep.

Scheduled for Oct. 3-5, the course is set in New Orleans at the Royal Sonesta Hotel — right in the heart of the French Quarter.

A "Get Acquainted Coffee" for spouses and guests will be offered from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Oct. 3. That same day, there will be a cocktail reception for registrants and their spouses from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

A mix of riverboat trips, antique shopping and New Orleans jazz are just a few of the opportunities available for your off-hours enjoyment in the city. Crawfish, shrimp and oysters are some of the delicacies you'll find in New Orleans, which offers French, Continental and authentic Creole cuisine.
