Liability guide revised, mailed

Arevised handbook on medical liability, which outlines changes that have emerged since the first edition was published in 1975, is being mailed to Academy members this month.

An Introduction to Medical Liability for Pediatricians, reviews professional liability insurance coverage, common liability problems in pediatric practice and legislative solutions to problems connected with medical liability. The 28-page handbook includes two appendices that offer suggestions for avoiding medical liability suits and define medical malpractice terms.
