Academy members have reached 87 percent of their goal while corporations and foundations have attained 86 percent of their goal in the Growth for the Future campaign, June figures show. Academy members have donated $5.3 million, up from the $5.1 million reported in February. Corporations and foundations have donated $2.4 million, up from $2.2 million. The campaign is designed to raise funds for the new AAP office building in Elk Grove Village, Ill. Campaign efforts were boosted last month with a $200,000 pledge from Nestle's S.A., the Swiss corporate parent of Nestle's U.S.A. In addition, more than 5,000 campaign donors this month will receive pledge installment reminders with the AAP national dues bill. For most of the recipients, this will be the second $100 installment on a pledge of $500 extending over five years. The pledge installment suggested on the dues bill is voluntary and tax deductible.
