Error in health guide noted

A serious error in the Academy Guidelines for Health Supervision has been confirmed by the AAP Committee on Nutrition.

In two places, the guidelines state the dose of supplemental iron for infants as 15mg/kg/day. The correct dose is 15 mg daily.

The dosage was misstated on page 19 under "2 Months — Anticipatory Guidance — Nutrition" and on page 23 under "4 Months — An ticipatory Guidance — Nutrition."
