Child health book available

Complimentary copies of the book America's Children: Powerless and in Need of Powerful Friends are available through the Academy on first-come, first-served basis.

The 1983 book was developed by the Maine Department of Human Services and discusses a variety of child health issues, including: children in poverty, youth employment, access to health care, substance abuse, child abuse and sexual exploitation.
