NHTSA grants go to chapters

The National Highway Traffic Safety Association (NHTSA), in co-operation with the AAP "Make Every Ride ... A Safe Ride" program, awarded ten S3,000 grants last month to chapters sponsoring projects that encourage compliance with child seat belt and safety seat laws.

The grants were awarded to the following chapters. Fellows who submitted the project proposals are listed with each chapter: Colorado Chapter, Philip L. Lewis, M.D.; Connecticut Chapter, Paul S. Spivak, M.D.; Georgia Chapter, Stuart Levi, M.D.; Illinois Chapter, H. Garry Gardner, M.D.; Massachusetts Chapter, Paul C. Schreiber, M.D.; Mississippi Chapter, Clifford A.
