AAP hosts pediatric congress

The Academy will host the XVIII International Congress of Pediatrics when it convenes July 7-12, 1986 in Honolulu, Hawaii marking the first time that the AAP has served as the host society. Paul F. Wehrle, M.D., immediate past AAP president, is Congress President.

The theme selected for the Congress is "Child Health and Well Being: A World Commitment." More than 6,000 pediatricians from throughout the world are expected to attend.
