Chapter committee develops handicapped children program

Members of the Colorado Chapter's Committee on the Handicapped have developed a comprehensive, innovative progratm to deal with this issue. The program has three phases: a collaborative agreement regarding early identification of children with developmental disabilities; increasing public awareness of child development; and educating health professionals to work more effectively with the families of children with disabling conditions. The program was jointly developed by the chapter and the Rocky Mountain Child Development Center.
