CHAPTER NEWSLINE

• Two pediatric residents in Georgia have completed legislative internships designed to familiarize them with the daily workings of the state lawmaking process, particularly as it pertains to medical issues.

The intensive, one-week internships were coordinated by the Georgia Chapter Legislative Committee and teamed residents with lawmakers known for their support of child advocacy issues. The internships were conducted near the end of the spring legislative session.
