Three-part project aimed at improving public education

To augment the Academy's ongoing efforts to educate the public on the unique benefits of pediatric care, the AAP is finalizing plans to collaboratively produce a monthly pediatric newsletter for parents, an official child health care book and a home video program on child development.

The projects will be produced by their creator, Art Ulene, M.D., chairman of Feeling Fine Programns (FFP), a health education company. Dr. Ulene is founder of Cable Health Network/Lifetime, a cable television operation now-seen in 23 million homes and is perhaps best known for, his appearances on NBC's The Today Show, where he is the resident medical news anchor.
