Connaught bak in market, DTP booster resumption urged

Pediatricians should halt restrictions in effect since last December on administration of the DTP vaccine, the Academy announced April 25.

In a letter to all U.S. members, AAP President Robert J. Haggerty, M.D., said that "all vaccine providers should immediately resume administration of the full DTP schedule and implement recall of all children under 7 years of age whose fourth and fifth doses (those administered at 18 months and 4 to 6 years) were deferred."
