Montgomery wins vice presidential election

Saying that "I'm very grateful to the members who voted for me, and I promise to work hard for all Academy members," William C. Montgomery, M.D., outlined his views in an interview with AAP News after being informed that he had won election as vice president and president-elect for the 1985-86 term.

A former District V chairman from Detroit, Dr, Montgomery will take office at the 1985 Annual Meeting, set for October 19-24 in San Antonio. His opponent in the election was Warren Bosley, M.D., Grand Island, Neb.
