Medical practice has never been confronted with so many socioeconomic problems. Throughout the nation, pediatricians are confronting and addressing these challenges in a variety of ways. More than 1,000 physicians gathered recently at one such forum, the American Medical Association (AMA) Leadership Conference, to discuss the issues.
