Section on Perinatal Pediatrics awards grants to five Academy districts

Five Academy districts have taken advantage of a new grant program funded by the AAP Section on Perinatal Pediatrics.

A total of $24,000 was offered to districts. Grants for $1,000 were made available to districts that invited a member of the AAP Committee on Fetus and Newborn or the Perinatal Section Committee to participate in a district meeting. Grants for $2,000 were offered to districts that sponsored a joint district-section scientific program.

Districts I, IV, VI, VIII and IX each chose both options and received $3,000.
