Study suggests that noisy toys may harm children's hearing

The holiday season invariably becomes "new toy" season for many children. Pediatricians can take this time to remind parents of some potential hazards posed by the toys their children may receive.

Two researchers from the University of Goteberg in Sweden have suggested that noisy toys are one potential hazard and have recommended that parents limit the use of such toys.
