Members named to AIDS panel

AAP President Robert J. Haggerty, M.D., and former New York Chapter 3 Chairman Lou Cooper, M.D., are among seven doctors recently selected to serve on a New York City panel that will recommend on a case-by-case basis whether children with AIDS may attend public school.

The new panel will be the second part of a two-tier system that will offer recommendations to the city's health commissioner.
